Winter-Kaboom-Breakfast/Dessert

IMG_20151125_111648I’m sure I’m not the only one who simply adores the smell of cinnamon and tangerine in winter time. So many beautiful memories united in these two – I’ve even seen strangers share tangerines on trains when people mentioned how happy the sweet smell made them.
This sweet and filling breakfast is perfect for starting your day when you need to show performance in the office, at school, university or in the field of sports. Or if you simply want something delicious to start your day with. Of course, you can also enjoy it as a dessert. The ingredients are simple except for one, which might be a little hard to get:

  • 100g curd
  • 100g yoghurt
  • 1 tangerine
  • 1 tbsp chestnut-cream
  • cinnamon

Chestnut cream is a bit expensive (in my opinion) but it is a great investment for sweet and hearty meals. You can spread it on bread but also mix it into dairy products or put it into sauces / soups. It has a very autumnish/winterish taste, which gives this breakfast its special savour.

Simply mix all ingredients together. If you want to, you can add some sugar. The chestnut cream is already sweetened, so I recommend waiting until you’ve tried the mix.

    1. My friend made a similar dish with curd, cream and tangerines. I wanted to have something a bit lighter (which is why I supplemented the cream with yoghurt) and something for the additional yummy – therefor the chestnuts :). Really just a lot of trying out.
